and the NFL on FOX will witness a BIG TIME Wild Card Match as Tony Romo, Demarco Murray and Dez Bryant and the Dallas Cowboys will play their 1st playoff game in 5 years as they host Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions and the Cowboys are lookin' to get payback on one Golden Tate and the Lions have clinched a Wild Care for the 1st time in 3 years

The only way I'll be seeing the Super Bowl this year...is if the Detroit Lions are in it!

I think that this is gonna be a very interesting Super Bowl

But also, the only 2 teams that will have to win all their games on the road are the Ravens and the Lions as they both have the #6 Wild Card which is the biggest disadvantage in the playoffs

also, the Cardinals and Lions are both tied with 11-5, but the Cardinals own the Tiebreaker b/c of their win over the Lions in the Regular Season

I think the super bowl is gonna be Denver or New England against Seattle.

The guy in the picture with the coach for Indianapolis, I think he used to be the coach for Dallas. I can't remember his name. He retired from coaching. I think his name is Wade Philips. Before Wild Card weekend, I did my Super Bowl picks and picked the Seahawks over the Patriots 28-21 and I'm sticking to that prediction.

The NFL on FOX will see the Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers headsback to Seattle and hopes to get revenge as they take on Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman and the Seattle Seahawks for the NFC Conference Championship

and Next Sunday on the NFL on CBS, Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts heads back to Foxborough and hopes to get revenge as they take on Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and the New England Patriots for the AFC Conference Championship

But even though the Colts beat the Broncos yesterday, I didn't before have anything against them. And Andrew Luck seems like a nice young man, plus being Peyton's old team. So I want them to beat the Patriots next week ;) (I know that is a tall order, but I HATE the Patriots, I can't stand Tom Brady ) and I love the Packers so I hope it ends up being the Packers and Colts, I think the Packers could win. If it is the Packers against the Patriots it will be tougher, but Packers beat them before!!! ;) We'll see!!

I was disappointed Denver lost also. Peyton Manning threw several bad passes and the receivers were dropping the ball. I saw on ESPN today that coach John Fox quit for Denver and he's gonna interview for the Bears head coach job. I was surprised he quit because he hadn't been there long. Maybe Peyton might retire and that could be part of the reason he quit. I'm picking New England and Seattle for the super bowl and Seattle is gonna win. I don't understand how Bill Belicheck didn't have any success when he was coach of the Browns but he goes to New England and has won several championships LOL. It seems like everytime somebody leaves Cleveland to go to another team, they end up winning championships like Steve Kerr, Ron Harper, Bernie Kosar, Lebron James, Manny Ramirez hahahahahahaha.

The Seahawks return to the super bowl and they will visit their own rival's hometown stadium.

4 #12's were in the Conference Championships, but only 2 of'em went to the Super Bowl

On the NFC Side, it was the 12th Man in Seattle against #12 Aaron Rodgers

The Packers were about ready to cash in their trip to the Super Bowl once again, but Crunch Time is what made the difference as the Seattle Seahawks, despite the turnovers made a comeback

The Packers had 5 Field Goals and made only 1 touchdown while the Seahawks, had 1 touchdown in the 3rd Quarter with the Fake Field Goal and in 4th Quarter, Wilson had a rushing TD and they also did an onside kick that lead to the Seahawks recovery and Marshawn Lynch went BEAST MODE for the Touchdown followed by an unbelievable 2-Point Conversion and following a Field Goal from the Packers, the game went into OVERTIME and the Seahawks won it with a Touchdown to Jermaine Keasre

Aaron Rodgers stood at the podium after Sunday's crushing 28-22 NFC Championship Game loss to the Seahawks because that's what the franchise quarterback has to do. It's part of the gig.

For five minutes, he answered questions about what was -- by far -- the biggest missed opportunity of his NFL career. The Packers had a 12-point lead and the ball with five minutes to play in the fourth quarter. And yet, here was Rodgers, as glum as we've ever seen him. Something had gone terribly wrong.

"It's going to be a missed opportunity that we're probably going to think about the rest of my career," Rodgers said. "We were the better team today and we played well enough to win and we can't blame anybody but ourselves."

It was an all-time stomach punch loss by a Packers team that seemed to have endless opportunities to seal their second Super Bowl trip in the Rodgers era.


"You can't let them complete a pass for a touchdown on a fake field goal, you can't give up an onside kick and you can't not get any first downs in the first quarter and expect to win," Rodgers said. "And that's on top of being really poor in the red zone in the first half. Put it all together and that's how you lose games. We had a great opportunity. We were right on the cusp."

Rodgers was asked how he'd deal with a loss this painful.

"You just go home, think about it, and move on," he said. "Start getting ready for the offseason program. This one's going to hurt for a while because of the close proximity to the feeling when the clock hits zero and you're ahead. We gave it away."

What a loss. If you're Rodgers -- or really anybody associated with the Packers -- how do you even watch the Super Bowl in two weeks? They had punched their ticket to Arizona and then watched it slip out of their fingers and down a Seattle storm drain.

Tom Brady ran off the field to chants of his last name, soaking up a moment he knows doesn't come around often. Even if it's happened more for him than any quarterback in NFL history.

The New England Patriots are headed to the sixth Super Bowl of the Brady-Belichick era after pasting the Indianapolis Colts 45-7 Sunday. They will face the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, Arizona. Yup, the Patriots are returning to the scene of the crime of their toughest loss under Belichick.

For now, the Patriots can revel in a complete destruction of a quality team. Like every other game between the Colts and Patriots of late, New England was way too tough up front for Indianapolis. LeGarrette Blount rushed for 148 yards and Andrew Luck was under duress all day from a revived Patriots pass rush.

1. New England used six offensive linemen often in this game, much like they did when Jonas Gray ripped off 201 yards in Indianapolis back in November. The Colts knew that power football was coming their way, but they had no ability to stop it. Blount set up a lot of favorable third-down situations, and Brady capitalized by hitting Julian Edelman nine times in the game.

2. The Colts trailed at halftime 17-7, a particularly discouraging score because Brady was struggling and Rob Gronkowski was invisible. The Patriots then scored touchdowns on their next four drives. New England's offense specializes in short passing and long, debilitating marches down the field. That comes from great efficiency on the money down; the Patriots hit on 12-of-18 third downs.

3. This Patriots defense is better than any Belichick has coached since at least 2007. Jamie Collins and Chandler Jones provided pressure, while Darrelle Revis and Collins both had interceptions in the back end. Andrew Luck completed only 12-of-33 passes for 126 yards. His accuracy was affected by the blustery conditions and heavy rain, but he also didn't seem to know where to find open receivers.

4. Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington deserves a game ball for tracking T.Y. Hilton for the second straight meeting with the Colts. He usually only plays in the slot, but Arrington was used to follow Hilton inside and out to great effect. Hilton had only one catch, which came on the type of miraculous throw-and-catch from Luck to Hilton that we've grown accustomed to seeing.


5. It's amazing the Colts got this far with so many holes on their roster. They don't have a natural pass-rusher. Cory Redding was their best defensive player in the playoffs outside of cornerback Vontae Davis. Their running game was led by Boom Herron and Zurlon Tipton. Indianapolis has the best young quarterback in the game and they have made it closer to the Super Bowl every year since Chuck Pagano and Andrew Luck hit town. But this is not close to a top-five NFL roster.

6. The Patriots' offensive line deserves plenty of credit, but Blount deserves more. The designated Colts killer made a ton of yards after contact and made defenders miss repeatedly.

7. The Patriots escaped the toughest game imaginable against Baltimore, and now appear to be playing with supreme confidence. That wasn't necessarily true of their last two Super Bowl appearances, where they didn't play their best in the playoffs. Beating Seattle is the ultimate test, and would be the ultimate way for Brady and Belichick to rewrite the history books again.

He said he's gonna start getting rid of players if they don't act right and I was glad he said that. The Browns have been losers for so long and it's time for a change. I was very surprised Seattle won because I watched most of the game and I stopped watching in the 4th quarter because Seattle's offense looked bad. Russell Wilson was throwing too many bad passes. I'm surprised Green Bay gave the game away because of bad defense. The Colts are pathetic only scoring 7 points against New England hahahahahahahahaha. Do you think so I.T.. That the Seahawks will win? The Patriots are tough, but the Broncos are good too, and the Seahawks slaughtered them last year! And the Patriots went to Super bowl in 2008 and 2012 with the NY Giants and lost . (When the Giants were good. These last two seasons it's a different story) :( So it is possible they will lose against the Seahawks!

It took me a few days to get over this and I have to say that it was the first Superbowl I ever watched that made me cry but I think it's admirable that not only Pete Carroll but Russell Wilson apologized for something that doesn't even need to be apologized for, IMO. I mean, sure it was a really bad outcome of a play the didn't work, but I don't fault them for it. Knowing my Hawks losing such a close game will just make them stronger for next year. People may not think this "counts" since we didn't actually win two years in a row, but I still consider this a re-Pete (with a nod to our awesome and wonderful coach, Pete Carroll). Time to move on to next year and put the past behind us.

Thanks and that's true. I appreciate that. It really did hurt because we literally went from euphoric to disbelief. I mean, we were watching in a restaurant and it went from being rowdy to completely silent. But honestly at the beginning of the season I wasn't sure that we were going to make it to the Superbowl again so the fact that we did was amazing. I love Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman. I think they are awesome as well as Earl Thomas and a lot of the other players but Russell Wilson is my absolute favorite. I think we'll be even stronger next year because of this Superbowl loss.
