But for me the funniest ep is when Maude comes to visit. She has some real zingers for Archie that are a riot.

Always loved Archie in the cellar!!! Loved the Maude episode as well. Bea Arthur and Carroll played off each other very well together. Loved them both.

Great episode - and it really makes a great point when Archie thinks that the black plumber is Jesus, and says "forgive me Lord, the Jeffersons was right." Imagine if Jesus appeared to people as a member of a group they were prejudiced against?
