Thanx for sharing bud :) Torgo 05-07-2015, 03:40 PM JamesG, I'm a big fan of The Innkeepers. I like all of Ti West's films, even Cabin Fever 2, though I think he has basically disowned it. He has a new western coming out with John Travolta and Ethan Hawke. Patrick was a decent reboot/remake. Though I gotta say the Italian sequel Patrick Still Lives from the 80's is still my fave in all its tasteless over the top glory. Chernobyl Diaries I liked also, better than I thought I would. I can't remember if I've seen Rogue River, I might be confusing it with a film with a similar title. I try to watch all of the After Dark films. JamesG 05-07-2015, 05:08 PM I'm really looking forward to The Innkeepers. I like horror flicks centered around hotels/motels. Is it just me or does the Rogue River cover looked ripped-off from I Spit on Your Grave? Torgo 05-07-2015, 05:13 PM I'm really looking forward to The Innkeepers. I like horror flicks centered around hotels/motels. Is it just me or does the Rogue River cover looked ripped-off from I Spit on Your Grave? It's filmed at a real functioning inn. It's where Ti West, cast & crew stayed when they were filming House Of The Devil. The Innkeepers came about when they heard stories about the place supposedly being haunted. Kelly McGillis' character was loosely inspired by Dee Wallace. Haha they're practically standing in the same position. It provides a list of voice actors in Italian films. One thing I learned about Eurotrash films is that if you watch a lot of them, eventually, you will notice that they all use the same voice artists. http://www.lovelockandload.net/forum/index.php?topic=2322.0 There's also this great two-part interview with Nick Alexander on the Italian film industry from the 60's to the 80's. http://www.lovelockandload.net/forum/index.php?topic=311.0 http://www.lovelockandload.net/forum/index.php?topic=312.0 So that's why you don't see a lot of Italian films with English-speaking actors anymore. Because now there are studios like Miramax that dictate what films can be made around the globe. Torgo 07-15-2015, 06:25 PM Haven't seen that before. JamesG 09-29-2015, 05:03 PM I haven't seen the 3rd one either, but I did enjoy the first 2. What I liked about the 1st one was that it had a female killer, which are smaller in comparison to male killers in slasher flicks. I don't remember too much about the 2nd one. I just realized Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon a Time) starred in it. I didn't want to look too much into it since I'll be seeing it at some point, but the 3rd was an in-name only direct-to-video release w/ no connection to the others. Apparently it takes on a more supernatural approach. Kate Mara stars. JamesG 10-08-2015, 10:09 PM I recently picked up these DVDs from a small charity store near me for $4.00 total.
