In watching the complete series DVDs, I've noticed that anytime there's a prom or a dance, it always takes place in the schoolyard.

Was Buchanan High so cheap they couldn't afford an auditorium???

It just looks weird to me when they're dancing outside the school with the fence surrounding them.

Maybe James Komack was too cheap to have an auditorium set built?;)

That school was pretty run down anyway! It was supposed to be a really poor part of Brooklyn
