Dear Nick at Nite Viewer Services,

I have a proposal for Nick at Nite: to make a deal with Sony Pictures Domestic Television Distribution for Nick at Nite to become the shared cable home (with TBS) of the hit 1990-1998 sitcom "Seinfeld."

Created by Larry David, "Seinfeld" was conceived as a vehicle for Larry's best friend, stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld, who was cast as (DUH) Jerry Seinfeld, a locally successful stand-up comedian based and living in New York City.

Jerry's trio of best friends were Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), his ex-girlfriend and platonic pal; George Costanza (Jason Greenspan), Jerry's worrywart friend; and Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards), an entrepreneur who always walked around in Jerry's apartment.

During its first 3 seasons, ratings for "Seinfeld" were very low--so low that, when pitted in 1992 against the Tim Allen hit Disney sitcom "Home Improvement" (airing Wednesday nights at 9 P.M. on ABC), "Seinfeld" was moved from Wednesday nights at 9 P.M. to Thursday nights at 9 P.M. just to be given a chance--a move making "Seinfeld" the classic it is today.

In December 1997, 18 months after Larry David quit the show, Jerry Seinfeld (by this time in full control of the show and its fate) announced after 8 VERY successful seasons that he was retiring "Seinfeld."

The show's success was celebrated with a 2-hour Series Finale telecast on May 14, 1998, in which George and Jerry's fictional sitcom pilot is picked up to air on prime-time TV; before they went to California for work, however, the plane made an emergency landing to the small town of Latham, Massachusetts, during which the gang witnessed a robbery and did NOTHING to stop the crime from happening--which earned the 4 principal "Seinfeld" characters an arrest for violating the "Good Samaritan" law in the city.

In the trial that followed, Jerry, George, Elaine & Kramer were EACH found Guilty of violating the law, and at Finale's end, EACH of them were sentenced to a Year in Jail, and as the credits rolled for the 180th and Last Time, Jerry performed a stand-up routine in front of fellow prisoners (George and Kramer included, but NOT Elaine, who was sent to a Women's Prison), after which Seinfeld was escorted out by the Prison Guard and said, "See You in the Cafeteria."

The original pilot of "Seinfeld" was aired on July 5, 1989, and although the series was NOT picked up for the Fall 1989 season, the series aired 4 additional episodes as a Summer Replacement starting May 31, 1990.

Tentatively, Nick at Nite shall start showing reruns of "Seinfeld" starting June 1, 2015 (coinciding with the 25th Anniversary week of its debut) with a week-long "Sein-a-Thon," where Jerry Seinfeld hosts and presents his 40 favorite episode featuring "Seinfeld's" memorable moments complete, uncut, & unedited, just the way they originally aired on the NBC Television Network.

After the marathon (airing 10 episodes per night from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. ET, encoring from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. ET), here's what Nick at Nite's schedule should look like starting June 5, 2015.

On a personal note, I purposely left "Full House" and "See Dad Run" off the Nick at Nite lineup due to "See Dad Run" being Cancelled and "Full House" having aired WAY too long on Nick at Nite, almost 12 YEARS.

Full House is the perfect show to rerun on Nickelodeon, Seinfeld has too many edgier episodes.

I wish it can replace How I met Your mother

I've never seen Seinfeld or How I Met Your Mother and don't care to. I wish they would take off the shows they have on now and add Perfect Strangers, Empty Nest, Nurses, Sister Kate, Mr. Belvedere, Charles In Charge, The Jeffersons, Maude, Diff'rent Strokes, The Facts Of Life, A Different World. They need a new mix of shows that haven't been on cable in a while.

I like "Seinfeld" but I dot think it should be on N@N.

Shows like "Perfect Strangers", "Mr. Belvedere", "Step by Step", "The Facts of Life", "Major Dad", & "Boy Meets World" would fit in much better and bring back the "spirit" of what N@N used to be.

Don't get me started on TV Land...

I doubt Nick at Nite would ever remove Full House anytime soon. It's too highly-rated, and it's actually been on and off the channel in those 12 years. It's only started airing consistently on there since 2012.

Personally, I wouldn't care if either TV Land or Nick at Nite started showing reruns of Seinfeld. It could become a reality if TBS's rights to rerun Seinfeld had expired (which is unlikely to happen in the next few years, though). If those two channels have rerun Friends and Home Improvement in the past, then they can rerun any long-running sitcom from the 1990s.

Yes TBS has Seinfeld on lock right now and I watch it every night at 7pm when I eat my dinner.
