I'm gonna watch it this Wednesday and Ryan Seacrest has now replaced Dick Clark since he's dead. I was reading a article yesterday in the newspaper in the Parade magazine that comes with the Sunday newspaper and Ryan Seacrest was on the cover. The article talked about him taking over New Year's Rockin Eve tv show and he talked about the advice he got from Dick before he died. He said he was very honored to get some advice from Dick and he was happy to work with him. Ryan said he had wanted to be on New Year's Rockin Eve when he was a kid and he said he had dreamed that one day he was gonna host the show. I know he's happy that his dream came true because most people don't get to see their dreams come true. I hope I stay up long enough to catch the show because sometimes I fall asleep when I stay up late but I've been able to catch this show for a long time. I love the Times Square area in New York and I like how it looks at night on new year's eve when there's a lot of people there celebrating in the street. RIP Dick Clark.

The news that Seacrest is extending his New Year’s Rockin’ Eve deal for four more years means that, according to The Hollywood Reporter, "he’ll be kept within the Disney fold as industry rumors swirl that he could be a contender for Michael Strahan’s slot on ABC's Live! with Kelly and Michael, though ABC brass is said to be waiting for the dust to settle before making any decisions about a replacement.”

Agreed

When Mr. Clark died, I gave up on New Year's Rockin' Eve and plus, I head to bed, even if it before midnight because it's not the same anymore
