I am thinking of getting this one.

I just ordered all the seasons off Amazon for just over $50. I am really enjoying getting reacquainted with the show.

I wish they would put "Gomer Pyle USMC" on Blu-ray someday.
Jim Nabors turned 85 on June 12.
I also wish they would put Jim Nabors' variety show "The Jim Nabors Hour" on DVD or Blu-ray also someday.

It should be on the complete set not the 1st season

I see that Gomer Pyle USMC is getting released again on DVD as a complete series, the release date is February 22nd.

It would be great if this new set was corrected with every episode complete and uncut to include all the music segments, but I imagine this is wishful thinking and most likely this is just a repackage of the same stuff that was released before, with several episodes edited because of music.

Other popular classic TV shows have been issued on DVD more than once, first as individual season releases, then as complete series. It's like a cash cow for the studios as they continue to milk the profits by re-issuing the series but without making improvements from the previous release.

Yes that's an example of what I'm talking about.

I believe there's a problem with the Three's Company episode Ralph's Rival on the DVD, it's missing the tag scene. Then later when the complete series was issued, the error wasn't corrected, still no tag scene.
