Throw Avery and Juliette a Proper Church Wedding
Fans were thrilled when Avery (Jonathan Jackson) finally proposed to Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) and Nashville was smart to show the two getting married right away before their baby is born. But the romantics in all of us would love to see Juliette in a beautiful wedding gown with all of the Nashville stars in attendance — of course, after the baby is born and Juliette has lost the baby weight. Since Rayna’s (Connie Britton) wedding fell through, it would make an incredible ending to the third season.
Call a Truce — Reunite Luke and Rayna
Yes, Rayna had to put her foot down and stand-up for the way she wants to live her life, but it doesn’t spell doom for her relationship with Luke (Will Chase). Perhaps halting the wedding will make Luke aware that Rayna’s relationship with her daughters is incredibly important to her and he will learn the only way to win her love back is by supporting Reyna’s choices. Their love could be even stronger for each other.
Give Deacon a Clean Bill of Health (Cancer-Free)
Deacon (Charles Esten) has had it rough for a long time. He finally has gotten away from the booze and he still pines for Rayna as he just professed his love to her again. Although things look dim from Deacon’s future, Rayna’s girls really need him and it would be a nice turn of events if his health crisis turns out to be nothing. Perhaps his original test results from the hospital could turn out to be a mix-up and all that Deacon has is a bad case of anemia, which can be cured just by creating a healthier eating regimen.
Draw out Gunnar’s DNA Test Results Drama
It’s obvious that Gunnar (Sam Palladio) has really stepped-up to being a father to Micah (Gunnar Sizemore), and it was devastating news that he isn’t Micah’s biological father. It would make a really good plot turn to have Gunnar face his brother Jason (Micah’s biological father, portrayed by David Clayton Rodgers) and his ex-girlfriend Kiley (Alexa PenaVega) and have the two biological parents allow Gunnar to adopt Micah. The love between Gunnar and Micah is obvious and all the grown-ups involved need to do the right thing.
Play up Tandy’s Tumultuous Return
Tandy (Judith Hoag) just returned for Rayna’s wedding. Could this spell a return to the show full-time as well? Her sisterly relationship with Rayna has been an important part in the Nashville series and her return to the show could help bring Nashville back to the days of higher ratings and more recognition during award season.
