if you have an affiliate in you area with LWN, have you found out what they are replacing it with come January? I haven't heard anything yet...I hope it would be one of the movie channels or Cozi TV for us.

Thankfully it will be replaced with Antenna TV on KMTV 3.2 in Omaha where I used to live.

My area is finally getting Antenna TV because of this.

My LWN station was replaced with Me-TV in April.

I emailed them, and I actually found out it will be replaced on WLNS 6.2 with a new network called Decades. I was hoping it was going to be Cozi TV, but this sounds good too.

Unfortunately it does not say for my market...it still says LWN. I asked the station on its FB page but I never got a reply.

Unless Scripps has a Food Network-like station...WEWS is one of the few non-ABC owned ABC stations which lag behind the other ABC stations.

WBAY in Green Bay is getting Decades, which doesn't "officially" launch until May 25th but in the meantime, it appears they have worked some deal out where they will be airing their programs from their library in marathon format. It kicks off January 16th with The Millionaire marathon followed by additional marathons of sitcoms like The Mother's-in-Law, Family Affair, Get Smart and The Doris Day Show plus more:

ABC O&O KFSN/30 in Fresno is also continuing with Live Well, in reruns, for the next couple of months.

To me, WEWS seems to play by their own rules a lot. They'll interrupt ABC shows a lot or not show them.

Some of that is Scripps, some is WEWS.

There was an alternate ABC affiliate in the market, of course. (WAKR-WAKC/23, today's ION TV O&O WVPX.)

But even then, they didn't run all of "Good Morning America" for years due to "The Morning Exchange"...the local show that reportedly influenced the creation of GMA.

ABC and Scripps are launching the "comedy oriented" network LAFF in April, and it'll replace LWN in all Scripps markets...and run alongside an ABC-only LWN on ABC's O&O (owned) stations that'll probably see local shows mixed in with it.
