Why did they keep talking about how it was getting too crowded in their apartment? There was the same amount of people living in that apartment as there was when James was alive.

View Full Version : Something that didn't make sense about the "Michael's Decision" episode. Thelma married Keith, Florida still had her room, so where were Thelma and Keith going to sleep? Thelma's room was apparently too small for the both of them. DJM77 12-26-2014, 01:43 PM Florida and Thelma could've traded bedrooms. If Florida's bedroom was big enough for her and James then it should've been big enough for Thelma and Keith. Janice Johnson 12-26-2014, 07:06 PM Someone pointed out that when Michael was 11-14, he was living with his mother, father, and teenage brother and sister, that he had known his whole life. It was the natural nuclear family. When he was 17, it was now him living with four adults, one of them being some dude he had just met that year. Being almost an adult himself, he definitely would have felt the pressure of living with 4 grown adults, rather than him being a child and living with his mother, father, and two teenage siblings. TVFactFan 02-08-2015, 05:05 PM Keith and Thelma should have been looking for a place of their own, real rap lol Kate From CT 02-20-2015, 01:55 PM It would have made more sense for Keith and Thelma to get their own place. J.J. could take Thelma's room or he could also move out and that would leave Thelma's room to Michael. Now, if Florida were still in Arizona that would mean that Michael and J.J. could each have their own room if Keith and Thelma got their own place. It also would have made sense for willona to move out the projects lol PracTz 02-21-2015, 04:54 PM Question: Was anyone sleeping in Florida and James's old bedroom while Florida was in Arizona? I could be wrong but I don't recall either JJ or Michael moving into it- despite making things far less cramped for them re the foldaway bed in the living room sofa. But then again, none of the Walton kids moved into their parents' bedroom after their parents went to Arizona so was it just needless TV sentimentality or something about Arizona that prevented the Evanses or Waltons from pragmatics?! No there wasn't and I had made a thread about it in the past. No one went in Florida's room the entire season that she was not on the show. lol ThomasE 02-24-2015, 02:52 AM The brothers took over Florida's room in season five. They'd walk in to go to sleep. Kate From CT 02-24-2015, 11:05 AM Yeah, that actually would, Keith and Thelma could have her apartment if they couldn't afford anything else.
