First cancellation means those awful shows that last five episodes and then dies in October. Crap that was such crap that no one watched the crap.
The show I loved that wasn't given a chance was Animal Practice on NBC. I really liked that program, liked all the characters, the slightly introverted head doctor, the homely assistant, the goofy Japanese American doctor, and the other guy who was the best friend and coworker of the lead character. Then there is Crystal the monkey. I thought the show was funny, fresh, original. No one else liked it but me!
My favorite TV shows cancelled after a year were Dads (still:mad: as hell about that,Dads was fking hilarious) and The Good Guys from 2012. But this discussion is about shows that were basically aborted after a month.
