Bounce TV, which bills itself as the first broadcast TV network for African Americans, is making its first move into off-network series acquisition. The network has nabbed Roc (72 episodes) and The Parent ‘Hood (90 episodes) from Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution, A Different World (144 episodes) from Carsey-Werner Distribution and The Hughleys (89 episodes) from Twentieth Television in individual multi-year licensing agreements.

The four series will be scheduled together to create a new line-up leading into prime time, with the network airing two episodes of each show back-to-back Monday-Friday starting at 5 PM beginning January 5.

I hope more sitcoms come to Bounce, like 227, Amen, Mr. Cooper, Martin, and What's Happening to name a few.

Good for Bounce TV. I'm glad this network isnt going under. I dont think any network should go under and have people lose there jobs. I will say I'm surprised about A Different World, considering it already airs a lot.

I loved it when they aired Soul Train all the time a couple of years ago. But then it become obvious their library consisted of only about 100 of the 1100 total episodes, and they eventually took it off the schedule.
