Surprised this case hasn't been posted. Basically here's the gist:

19 year old Jessica Chambers was burned alive in rural Mississippi. The perps put gas down her throat and set her ablaze. A passer-by saw her running down a rural road (as she burned) and called the cops. Paramedics showed up and she uttered something (Cops wont say what) and then died at the hospital. Her car was found torched at the end of a dead end street.

She was last seen alive at a gas station (only one in town and basically the only business in town). The station is ran by a rather strange 19 year old Yemeni immigrant who likes to post pictures of himself on FB with assault rifles, lots of cash and is quite fond of throwing up gang signs with local hoodlums. He also is seen openly carrying a firearm on his hip (at the store) even though he is not old enough to have a permit. He is 19 and owns this station (weird, eh?)

The video surveillance shows Jessica walking into the station and then looking at someone off camera in the parking lot. She then begins walking toward this person or persons like she knows them. A minute later, she is back at her car pumping gas. An unknown man comes into the frame and pumps gas into a canister right beside her. It appears they knew each other. Oddly, one minute of the video was cut out that would clearly show who this man is. Many people suspect the Yemini gas station owner cut it out to protect someone. The Police didn't even go to the station until AFTER a local reporter had went and asked for video. When the police finally got there, they didn't even take the DVR, but instead recorded the SCREEN with their own home camera (WTF?).

There's lots of possible suspects: Was it the boyfriend (who abused her in the past)? The gas station owner? The unknown man on camera? A local gang doing an initiation? A drug deal gone bad? A jealous woman who didn't like Jessica? Or was it a conspiracy between two or more of the above people?

There are other very strange people involved, like the fire "marshall" who has posted to his FB account very weird pics of himself half naked INSIDE the fire station.

The MBI came in immediately because her father worked for the police (not a cop but as a janitor or something) and I guess they thought it would be a conflict of interest. The Yemini gas station owner posted pics of her burned out car on FB before they were released to the public. He claims the cops let him take photos (a big no no). Apparently the cops "trust" this shady character enough to give him details and to let him hang around the crime scene.

The local police dept. stinks to high heaven. The gas station owner is highly suspicious. The boyfriend is a known gang member. There's drugs everywhere around. The DA said he doesn't expect any arrests during his press conference and seemed like he wasn't really concerned about the case. Jessica's dad himself has been arrested for meth and still works at the police department. Two deputies have committed suicide in the past year or so.

Now the hacker group "anonymous" is involved. They have begun hacking the social media accounts of everyone associated with Jessica and have found some damning photos of the gas station owner, the boyfriend, and other people in the circle. Anonymous is making threats now saying that they will "start handing out felonies like spliffs" if the killer doesn't confess (referring to the damning photos and texts). As a result of this, many of the people anonymous has targeted have deleted their FB accounts. Anonymous also dug up photos of the local jail and showed the inmates posing with the guards and throwing up gang signs. Some of the inmates were given iphones and other goodies. One local gang member has a father who works at that jail. Just another sign of the corruption.

Now the FBI is involved, but it's probably too late.

This website (http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2014/12/08/mississippi-burning-jessica-chambers-murder-they-squirted-lighter-fluid-down-her-throat-and-in-her-nose-then-set-her-on-fire-in-her-car/) has done some excellent investigative work of their own and also keeps up with what anonymous is doing. They have a different page for each day (day 1, 2, 3, etc.) If you want the full story start at day 1 and continue. Ignore the politics of the site (it's conservative) and focus on the story. They do a pretty objective job, imo.

I haven't read the linked info yet, but your post has tons more information about this case than I had read in the news.

I was hopeful that this would have been solved fairly quickly, since they said she whispered something important to the police before she died, but now it looks like it may be a possibility they won't solve it at all.

Yeah, the case has gone cold. Several sites have put together timelines and a list of suspects (based on their own research into social media and known friends/acquaintances of Jessica) and there's some good theories. However, the cops seem to be at a place now where they need someone to talk.

Some of the local people who have had their Facebook posts scrutinized on these sites have since deleted their FB accounts. There's a couple of these people who I, personally, consider prime suspects.

Sadly, I don't think this case is ever going to be solved unless someone talks. If they had strong forensics, they would have already made arrests.

No murder charges, but its a start. Someone is bound to squeal on the guilty party here.

Check out all the charges these 17 individuals had. Poor Ms. Chambers was clearly running with the wrong crowd here. It just screams to me of drug deal gone bad or some sort of drug ring cover up.
