I don't know the name of the episode or what season it was, but I'm sure when I explain the scene you'll know what I mean. It's the scene when Sheldon and Leonard are in the lobby of the apartment and Sheldon and Leonard had heard Penny's awful singing. Sheldon was carrying a bag of chicken and Leonard, to make up a lie to Penny, said they were throwing out some chicken. Clearly Sheldon didn't want to do it, but he threw the bag into the trash can. Then after Penny left he retrieved the chicken from the trash bag. It was funny, but there's no way in real-life a germaphobe like Sheldon would pick up and eat anything that was in a trash can. Inconsistent moment with the character. Don't you agree?
