Bones on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Tenth season fall finale, and 200th episode. Man, who ever thought a series about a street-smart FBI agent and an emotionally distant forensic anthropologist would turn into… whatever this show currently is. Also, can we discuss Angela’s trajectory as a member of the lab and take a moment to wonder why she’s not currently making ALL THE MONEY for her computer skills? She began as a trained artist and allegedly, in her free time, picked up enough software programming to design and master an imaging system that produces faces from bones, scans multiple kinds of documents for specific words or images, 3-D renders impressions taken from bones or other material, and a host of other things they just kind of hand-wave away. It’s weird enough when you have someone who just does all that as a skill (Abbie on NCIS or Penelope on Criminal Minds) but if Angela can program a machine that does that based on self-taught skills, she should currently be a minor deity in Silicon Valley, not standing around a lab in DC until someone needs her to put pretty pictures up on a screen.
