So supposedly Jack pointed out the guy who passed him a counterfeit bill in the police line-up and turns out he was a policeman, if the guy had the fake bill why didn't the police just arrest one of their own?

And if the policeman wasn't the guilty one then Jack only pointed him out because of being nervous at the police station.

Of course at the end Bradford gets arrested for having a fake bill but the detective stated that the fake money came from Jack's bistro and Jack was sure it came from a customer who ate there, the same guy from the line-up.

But then there's the big reveal when the cop unzips his jacket revealing to the detective that he was typing up reports, it could be that maybe Bradford did have dinner there and Jack just blocked it out and confused the two of them?

Anybody can explain? if so please do.

It didn't make much sense to me either but it hilarious. Coq au vin, sautéed potatoes, and broccoli with hollandaise sauce.
