This is the only clip in the theme intro that is NOT in an actual episode. It is obviously from "Break-In" when you watch that episode, but this moment where Blanche retracts her fist into her blouse and is saying something is NOT on the DVD.

Was it in the original airing of the episode?...was it ever in syndication?...is it just a "lost" moment that never aired on TV?

If it did air, does anyone remember the dialogue?

this was discussed prior. That scene never appeared in the actual episode; must be on the cutting room floor somewhere.

THANK YOU.

At least now I know that. :)

Still, how annoying it was in nearly 200 openings but never the actual episode, lol.

Wait, apparently this clip did air in the original NBC run! Check out the below post:

I asked this same question a couple years ago because it drove me crazy. I KNOW for sure I've seen this clip at least once, so it was aired at some point. When Blanche pulls her red sleeve over her fist I recall her saying something about a dog could bite someones hand off.

That thread can be found here (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=242019).

I didn't see the original broadcast, but you'd think it would be on the DVD, if that were the case (as the first few seasons look to be unedited).

Yes, this really is one of Miami's biggest mysteries...
