There's a scene in the "First Day Blues" episode where Tootie is looking for the fish feed and finds a bag of marijuana instead. The next thing she says is "This has got to be the goofiest fish in New York!" Watch her mouth when she says this. To me it looks like she originally used a different word than "goofiest" but it got dubbed over for some reason. Anyone else ever notice this?

I noticed it myself about two years ago. Here's the thread I posted at the time:

Okay, thanks. I'm not sure how I missed that.

It was probably edited after filming due to the drug references. Maybe Tootie used a more explicit phrase and it had to be changed.
Also, since other people posted about Kim Fields replacing Gary Coleman in that episode and probably using dialogue meant for him, I wonder if the original dialogue was supposed to be spoken by Arnold and was later considered inappropriate for her character.

The way it aired on the DVD is the same way that it aired on Encore. I'm guessing it aired that way on NBC too. I just wish I knew what she originally said and why it was changed.

I thought I was the only one that noticed too, I've seen the episode so many times that it just really sticks out because it's obvious she said something else.
