Lately and even during fandemonium marathons the TV Land schedule has been interrupted by just what the world doesn't need, more infomercials. This usually occurs between 1-2am and then regular programming resumes. For a while Nick at Nite followed this practice but thankfully got rid of it.

I am wondering if this is yet another inane local cable programming decision or if others are experiencing this?

It's nation wide. Starting Oct 15, the Infomercials are set to stop.
