Hey guys,
With only 3 more weeks until the NFL Playoffs, I wanna take a look @ the AFC Playoff Picture
There are 2 teams that are lookin' to become #1
Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos and Tom Brady and the New England Patriots
The Patriots have clinched the AFC East Division 11 of their last 13 years and Tom Brady knows how to make it to the top as the Patriots clinched the #1 Seed in the AFC 5 times while Peyton Manning has clinched #1 4 times
Twice with the Colts and Twice with the Broncos
Last year in the AFC Conference Championship, Manning and Brady squared off for the 15th time in Denver in which the Broncos won and went to the Super Bowl for the 1st time in 15 years only to be BLOWN AWAY by the Seattle Seahawks
and now, with these two QB's and the 2 teams tied for 1st place, there is pressure among them
The Patriots own the Tiebreaker b/c of their win over the Broncos in Foxborough
However, the Patriots wants to get homefield advantage and so does the Broncos
Peyton Manning wants #1 so won't have to go to Foxborough and Brady wants the same thing, he wants #1 so he won't have to go to Denver
The Broncos will travel to San Diego to take on Philip Rivers and the Chargers in Week 15, then on the Season Finale of Monday Night Football, they will travel again to Cincinnati to take on Andy Dalton and the Bengals and on Finale Day, the Broncos will be back home to host Derrick Carr and the Oakland Raiders
The Patriots will have 3 Division Match-Ups the rest of the way
Week 15 they will host the Ryan Tannerhill and the Miami Dolphins and hopes to get revenge while in Week 16, they will travel to New York to take on Rex Ryan's New York Jets and on Finale Day, they will return home to host Kyle Orton and the Buffalo Bills
Who will be #1 in the AFC and who get Home Field Advatage?
