YouTube - Apparently, owls can swim.
Chicago area photographer and birder Steve Spitzer captured the brief, yet amazing, video of a Great Horned Owl swimming the chilly waters of Lake Michigan near Chicago's Rogers Park earlier this week. The owl had apparently been forced into the water by two peregrine falcons, Chicago TV station WGN reported.
A bird rescue group was called to the scene, but the owl flew away. Watch the video below or by tapping here:
