"The Office" Alum Nabs "Melissa & Joey" Role (Exclusive)

One of Dunder Mifflin's finest is heading to "Melissa & Joey".

Brian Baumgartner, known for playing oddball accountant Kevin on "The Office", has landed a guest-starring role on the ABC Family sitcom's fourth season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.



He will play Hank, a campaign investor who considers helping Mel (Melissa Joan Hart) run for Congress.

Hank has second thoughts when he meets Joe (Joey Lawrence), who's in the throes of a coffee binge, and assumes Mel's husband has a serious drug problem.

Baumgartner will appear in the season's fourth episode.
