at least i guess it was Christmas?
Episode had some pretty good moments like Shawn sneaking on Cory. A bit too sappy for me though, how would it take 13 years for this plot subject to happen? lol i won't spoil it for anyone else though.

I really liked it, but I think it would have been even better as an hour long episode.
Shawn really was missed-- his dynamic with Cory is as great as it always was.

i agree about the hour idea. more time for jokes and dialougue.
Funniest of all? ZERO mentions of Eric. Not one "hey mom and dad, too bad Eric couldn't make it" lol

I was actually disappointed with the episode, no Eric or the sister, or Feeny. Everyone should have been included and it could have been if they would have done a one hour special. At least Shawn finally made his appearance.

While I enjoyed the episode, and of course I was elated to see Alan and Amy and Shawn and Joshua all there (I'm kinda surprised they even remembered to include Joshua's character, considering he only appeared on Boy Meets World twice if I recall correctly. I'm glad they included him though), I am surprised that no mention was made of Morgan or Eric or either Alan's and/or Amy's parents. (I believe Alan's mom was seen at least once on Boy Meets World.) It would have been nice to hear some mention of Topanga's parents too, for that matter.
But it's good for what it is. And to Blackout's comment in the first post- yeah.
I think we can safely assume it's Christmas, despite the fact that the writers went out of their way to avoid saying the word even once! I did hear "holiday" mentioned a number of times though. (Which of course is derived from the phrase "holy day" and that's certainly true of Christmas.)
I don't have any problem with saying the phrase "Happy Holidays" or using other words to refer to Christmas- Yuletime and such. It is good for a change of pace, but it just gets annoying to me that the word "Christmas" isn't said at least once in the episode, when that's so obviously the holiday being celebrated. But whatever- that's more the fault of Disney's political correctness stance on such things, I feel, than the writers so much.
It's still a great Christmas holiday episode and I very much enjoyed seeing Cory's parents there along with Joshua and Shawn and Cory back together. (The ornament, Shawn and Cory's talk with Riley and Maya regarding their friendships, the snoring, Cory's line about his favorite person in the world...and his wife- all awesome scenes.:) )

I'm just glad that we got to see Joshua as much as the character was shown. I was like, "Yum!" when Uriah Shelton walked through that front door. :) :) :)
God bless you and him always!!! :) :) :)

I totally forgot about Morgan!!! I just saw the episode. I thought it was well done. Besides no Morgan or reference to her, this was a good episode.

yeah they had no reference to Eric either.
there are 2 "mysterious" Boy Meets World characters coming back next year they haven't named.
confirmed we have Eric, Shawn and Mr. Feeny. Oh and Harley will still be there next year too. In fact they still have one more episode with Harley left to air in season 1
