I just watched "Janet Shapes Up" in Season 8, where she either quits or gets fired from the florist shop and becomes a full-time fitness instructor. It's never mentioned in that episode that she went back to the flower shop, so are we to assume she remained a fitness instructor?

Or is it one of those Simpsons things where we are just supposed to assume that the aerobics job didn't last and she begged back into her manager's position at the florist shop?

I always assumed she stayed as an instructor. The flower shop was never again mentioned in the series.
