He was a guest on a local radio station a few years ago and took calls from listeners including myself. I was the only one that addressed him as Mr. Baer or Max and although he was gracious to each of us, I could tell he was getting ticked when the other callers kept calling him Jethro. :rolleyes:

Sort of begs the question, was Irene Ryan hot? From the picture, she is interesting looking, but not someone I think is gorgeous, but interesting looking. It is always cool to see what older people looks like young. Buddy Ensen always looked like Buddy Ebsen. Of I were Ebsen, I would have beat the siht out of whom got me in that poisonous metal paint that screwed him out of immortality with the Tin Man role.
