If Me-TV is removing Adam-12 and Dragnet they might as well give the rights back to Antenna TV, Antenna always aired it in good slots.

Luckily I can watch all those without METV. Been watching Columbo and Dr Kildere and Medical Center this month. Then it will be on to 6 Million Dollar Man and The Man From Uncle anc Mission Impossible.

That's irrelevant to me as I have no use for Netflix. I'm hoping that MeTV will use the original openings. If they don't, I'll have to record it and dub them in myself before I can watch it.

I knew about leave it to Beaver going to Antenna, and very cool Adam 12 and Dragnet will go to Cozi. ;) All three I watch sometimes, glad I still will be able to! ;)

Another thing I'm happy about is The adventures of Superman being on weekdays! ;) I'm getting into Superman, but it only being on Saturday, and at 6:00 in the evening, wasn't able to see it that much. ;)

I also wish they would put Petticoat Junction on later than 6:00AM! I'm not always up that early! And wishing METV would bring back My Three Sons and Family Affair! :)

It's been an E/I show for years. I think the only reason, really, that the FCC even considered it as an E/I show is because it's set in a high school. But I agree with you, it's NOT educational.

Apparently "Saved by the Bell" counts because it focuses on interpersonal relationships in the teenage years:confused:. Then again a few years ago networks tried to get "The Flinstones" as E/I programming cause it dealt with the past!

no offense to western lovers out their i think we seen too much of gun smoke & Bonanza they both come on TV land pulse how about adding in some more cops shows or some scif fi or super hero TV series I would love to see the older 1970s live action spider-man TV series yes they was a live action spider-man show back in 1970s or how about The Incredible Hulk staring Bill Bixby as Bruce banner & Lou Ferrigno as The Incredible Hulk its got popular fan base i pretty sure most people would turn in to see the hulk

They could probably add “The Millionaire” sometime in the future because of it airing on Me-TV's sister network, Heroes & Icons. They may also add “Our Miss Brooks” in the future as well. This lineup, though unofficial, is pretty good. I like the fact that Abbott & Costello and Carol Burnett might be coming. I also like that they're probably returning Dobie Gillis.

Your choice, then again netflix is under 10 bucks a month so I'd much rather pay that and not watch any commercials, seeing as I can also watch Emergency, Family Ties, ATeam, Rockford Files, Simon and Simon, Quincy, Mission Impossible, Dexter, Dragnet, Murder She Wrote, Magnum PI, All Star Trek eps from all the series etc, etc and about 500 other series.

Or I can bust out around 800 series not on Antenna TV or Netflix.

If I had a TV Network...the E/I shows would be played weekdays between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. and weekends between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. since not many people watch TV at these times!

I'm pretty bummed that Me-TV is apparently already ditching both The Rogues and The Green Hornet, after just one full run (or less) of these two one-season wonders --neither which has been released on DVD-- in favor of the easily-available and already-overplayed F-Troop, Gilligan's Island and Dobie Gillis.

Another thing I really like about MeTV is the "Watch Me on ME" promotions they run featuring some of the actors and actresses of the programs they show. All recently filmed so you get to see how they look now. They've had Paul Petersen,Johnny Crawford,Martin Landau,William Schallert,Susan Olsen,Barry Williams and many more. They have Jamie Farr,Alan Alda,Mike Farrell and Loretta Swit in seperate promotions giving some brief comments about Mash. The most recent one I saw featured 4 members of the cast of CHiPs,for some reason though Larry Wilcox and Erik Estrada are not in it.

I am also disappointed that Me TV is taking off The Rogues without EVER airing all the episodes. They skipped many many episodes and never showed them at all. Now it's gone. Wow, I'm happy. And when is My 3 Sons coming back and when it does I don't want Me TV to continue to skip episodes in groups of 20 and 30 at a time. They skipped so many episodes and ran it at such an unwatchable time it was really a slap in the face to all the sons. They need to show the Sons starting with the b/w episodes from beginning to the very end at season 12. Now that would be showing that program with respect and to put it on at a normal viewing time.

And to some here, has no one heard of DVDs? You talk of not seeing such and such because it's not on now or wishing you could see such and such if only they'd show it, all you have to do is 1. Buy the DVDs (heaven's yes I said buy) or 2. Record the shows on a DVD recorder or DVR and watching them whenever you choose. I know if it weren't for DVDs I wouldn't be able to watch any of the vintage shows I love. Thanks to DVD I can watch all of My 3 Sons every day, and so many many other great shows. DVDs, what a concept, huh?

I know that before, season 1-5 (Black and White) and seasons 11 & 12 couldn't air because they weren't available for syndication. Maybe Me-TV is working out a deal with CBS Television Distruibution to add the other 7 seasons? It's a possibility, but I don't see it. Though, they could surprise me. Just like what Me-TV did with the B&W episodes of Petticoat Junction. Those weren't available for syndication before and Me-TV was finally able to get them.

Here's an odd one from our market: The unheralded .2 subchannel of WBNX/55 (our CW affiliate) actually runs "Andy" weekdays as one of its few secular shows. (55.2 exists primarily to reair WBNX's religious shows, fronted by station owner and long-time televangelist Ernest Angley).

I thought for sure that meant that MeTV (WOIO 19.2) would have to run "Mayberry" instead, but no, it runs "Andy".

My best guess is that WBNX got some really cheap non-exclusive rights package for "Andy", or that 55.2 has no cable carriage in the market, so WOIO can run "Andy" on 19.2.

Yeah,I agree Grossie aged very well. As far as Erik and Larry not being in the promotion,I'm guessing that they did not want to be in it for whatever reasons. Being the 2 stars of the show surely MeTV would have wanted them in it. Or maybe a promo featuring either Larry or Erik or both is coming soon.

Yes, Nick at Nite sure did show The black and white eps back than! ;) It was the last time I saw them. And first too. I remember as a little girl, the first eps I ever saw were in color with Uncle Charlie and Ernie. It was cool seeing Bub and Mike on Nick at Nite (when Nick at Nite actually showed old shows and was cool)! ;) That would be AWESOME if METV could get hold of them somehow! :)

Yeah,I also think Grossie aged very well. As far as Erik and Larry not being in the promotion,I'm guessing that they did not want to be in it for whatever reasons. Being the 2 stars of the show surely MeTV would have wanted them in it. Or maybe a promo featuring either Larry or Erik or both is coming soon.

I'm thinking it might be because there already have been promos featuring Erik and Larry. Back from when it originally aired, not them now days though. But already they have the one (it used to say He's Erik Estrada and He's the blonde guy) Than they changed it to he's Larry Wilcox and he's Erik Estrada. And another one with Erik and Larry, Chmeps. I meaning the same as me, so instead of Chips , why isn't it called Chmeps? LOL! It's silly!

I wish they had added Officer Baricza to the promo with the other 4! I like him! The actor who played him, Brodie Greer is a real estate agent now out here in California. I was seriously thinking of getting in touch with him on pretense of buying a new home! :D Can you imagine me wasting this man's time just to meet him , not really looking to buy a house at all, just me being silly!

Grossie really never was bad looking IMO, just a bit overweight and goofy. He has really pretty eyes! ;)

He seems to have kept a very low profile after CHiPs.

Maybe METV didnt have all the rights to My 3 Sons? Maybe not all the episodes are available? That seemed to happen with Bachelor Father. There were episodes that were missing so maybe they got wiped out or there too poor to air. I think a show like My 3 Sons should air the whole series. Its one of those shows that unless you have DVDs or whatever, have not seen the whole series in decades. Shows like that and Benson are hard to watch the whole series because they dont show the whole series. I mean, lets face it, Benson and My 3 Sons, among others, are not Seinfeld, Friends or Everybody Loves Raymond where those shows have been shown to death.

Oh my gosh, look how young Chip looks! :)

I've seen the B&W prints before on TV Land back in the 1990's. I've seen seasons 11 & 12 on Hallmark back around 2000. That's the last I've ever seen those seasons. And yes, My Three Sons deserves to have all it's seasons aired. Bub was always hilarious in those early episodes, in my opinion.

I know right? Esp. since I am a middle aged woman from the Chips generation and Chips just coming back to TV!! It would be pretty obvious that I didn't just come upon Brodie randomly on the internet googling real estate agents in Southern California and not knowing who he was! :D And with me, I'm a bad liar and can't hide emotions well, it would be very obvious I was just trying to meet him!!!

Lunch, like you, I wonder how many women actually tried this? It's such a Lucy and Ethel or Laverne and Shirley type scheme!

I didn't tape the episodes back then. I have no clue as to why. Now I realized that I should've. This was a very funny show. Hopefully, all the seasons will be aired in the future. We can only hope. I do have one episode, though. It was a B&W episode. I can recall that in this episode, I think Bub was somehow hypnotized. Whenever somebody (i.e. Steve) would whistle around Bub, he would start dancing. I think the episode was from season 5; titled ‘You're in My Power’.

Seasons 11 and 12 are syndicated with the B/W episodes. No one has played them for years. And what a screwy syndication arrangement!

I have them too--they came from the old Odyssey network (S11 and S12), and are heavily edited, but better than nothing!

You are lucky. I haven't seen the color episodes since at least 2000. If I can recall, weren't they edited prints from Viacom?

I just found out that our This TV affiliate has switched to ME-TV so I can get the full lineup now minus 10:00 when they air the news. The channel that I had that aired part of ME-TV's lineup has switched to Cozi-TV which I never had before. I don't get that full lineup but it's better than nothing. What a way to start the new year. :woohoo:

I'm a little upset because I can't see TAGS anymore because we've started having dinner at 8:00 again-and just when I was starting to take a new look at the color episodes. O well-every once in a while I at least get to see the 8:30 one.

yes it was Sal; I plan to check it out too. I remember back in the 80s when channel 17 used to show it on weeknights.
