Finally!!!! Almost two weeks ago my computer crashed! I had gotten a virus!:( I got that taken care of and than my modem was not working right!!! :( Finally I am up and running again. I was thinking of all you and so glad to be back!! :) I have a lot of catch of reading and posting to do! ;)

I know how you feel; 3 years ago when I had a stroke and was away for 3 months, I was really excited when I was finally able to get back to this site.

That happened to me last Christmas. A virus got me! What a pain! Hanging is too good for those creeps who get them started. Well, glad you're back Bonnie. I was wondering why I hadn't seen you here lately. Welcome Back!:wave:

Penny, I feel the same way. I can't believe people could be so low as to put virus's and hack computers! I really wish there was a way to catch them and crack down on this! For this reason I don't keep any banking or any really personal info in my computer. The most I have in my files is a resume. And my hubby is really old school, he never even uses the internet.

But such an inconvenience having to have the virus removed. But at least I had the money, and I needed updates anyway. I feel sorry for people who don't have any money if this were to happen. Or if you were job hunting and to be without a computer because some idiot decides to put a virus in your computer. So if it had to happen at least it was now and not in a couple months when I will be looking for a job!

I don't know if I'm gonna get approved for medicare from Maryland's social services because I still haven't heard from them about welfare money. I might have to take a ride out there to see what's going on with my application.

I've been googling around and I found Maryland Medicaid.gov It is a website with links for health care for low income adults in Maryland .

Thanks. I appreciate your help. I need health insurance but I don't know how i'll be able to pay for it because the part time job I got isn't enough money for me to pay for health insurance. I don't know when I'm gonna get a full time job and I'm not gonna be looking for a job during the winter. I'll wait until next spring and summer to find a job.

@ Mets82- You have really been without a computer and post from the library? I thought about that if I wasn't able to get this fixed, right now we don't really have the money for a whole new computer and I was thinking I could go to the library sometimes to use the internet. ( we live right near a library) . How much time do they let you be on the computer at a public library?

at our library there is no time limit.

I'll look into it for you when I get a chance. I'm thinking though that it is all included. If you are excepted for health insurance, dental is included. Out here in California it is like that. My son has Medi-cal and the dental part is called Denti-cal. Once he signed up and got approved for the medical the dental came with it. Basic dentistry though. No cosmetic procedures . I'm thinking it should be the same in all the states. But I still will look into it in case it varies from state to state. ;)

Thanks for that information Bonniegirl62. I got a letter yesterday from social services office and they told me that I had applied for temporary disability assistance and that they can't help me until they hear from my doctor. So when I saw that, I shook my head because I didn't apply for that. I applied for temporary cash assistance. So I called the office today and I talked to a woman who told me that if I want temporary cash assistance, I have to come to the office and apply for it. So I'm gonna do that Tuesday and I hope I get approved because I could use the extra money to pay rent and pay for car repairs. It looks like I'm gonna be without a full time job for awhile. I took my car to have a emissions test yesterday and I'm glad it passed because I was worried it wasn't gonna pass because there's a few things I need fixed and I don't have the money to get it done.

I won't be on for a few days. Tomorrow I am leaving to go up North with my son to visit my other son. His birthday is on Wed. and we are driving up for his B'day. He and his girlfriend just got a new place, so I will be seeing it for the first time too. Also I have some friends I will be seeing that live up that way.
