A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Surges
by Nellie Andreeva
November 27, 2014

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is not acting its age. The 41-year-old cartoon extended its ratings streak with another impressive gain, helped by a move from Thursday to Wednesday.

It tied CBS’ "Survivor" as the No.1 program of the night with a 2.1 in adults 18-39, up +31% from last year. Over the last three years, the Peanuts classic has posted 1.1 (2012, Thanksgiving night), 1.6 (2013, Thanksgiving night) and 2.1 last night.

I have it recorded on TV, I just need to find the tape.

But I may have popcorn and toast for dinner.

Is it weird that I have never watched any of the Peanuts holiday specials? I mean every year when they come on I just don't find any interest in seeing them? Ive read the Peanuts strip and am familiar with Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest but I've never cared for the TV specials.

I saw it on TV this year- that was awesome to see the Peanuts classic Thanksgiving special airing on network television. I hope the Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas specials continue to air every year- they are all classics I never get tired of seeing.:)
