MY favorite sitcom of all time and yet I have never seen any more rediculous than GI. Maybe that's it's apeal. You know, some of the things like where did they get all of those clothes on a 3 hour trip. I guess sometimes we just naturally bow to the obsurd, and GI was obsurd. I mean really! I'm surprised Gilligan, as rediculous as he could be, didn't attempt to capture a seashorse and try to ride it to the mainland. I guess if I had 1 word for GI it would be. SERIOUSLY? Note the question mark. Maybe that's the same thing the critics thought. In any case, I still love GI even if the critics didn't. All I care about is that it makes me laugh hard.

Yeah I love watching GI since I was a kid that the absurdity now watching as an adult just makes it more hysterical.

Sure many critics just flat out hate it but 50 years later it has gained new fans and is more popular now than about 95% of the current garbage on TV.
