T.Y. Hilton managed to make it to Sunday's Colts-Jaguars game despite his wife giving birth to a little baby girl early in the morning.
Operating on little sleep, Hilton even found the end zone, where he celebrated by rocking the football to sleep. Following the game, Hilton was incredibly emotional when asked how he was able to play.
"Very emotional game for me. Little bit of rest ... just came out here and gave it my all," Hilton said, his voice breaking.
Hilton flat-out started crying when asked how he was handling the emotional nature of playing so soon after having a child born.
"Again, very emotional. I ain't got no pulse in my body today," Hilton said, fighting back tears. "I've been there with my baby girl the whole time I just want to give it my all and play this game for her."
After the interview, CBS cut to our colleague Bart Scott who said "that's what I'm talking about."
Couldn't agree more. Seeing Hilton show the emotion was a delightful moment. Pretty decent 24 hours for him. And guess who got the game ball Sunday? Yep ...
But the real game ball went to lil Hilton
T.Y. Hilton had four catches for 122 yards and a score vs. the Jaguars.
