Cold Open - "Schoolhouse Rock", this one had some funny moments - mostly from Keenan - overall not too bad. I'm not a big fan of the political sketches, they can be kind of heavy-handed.

Monologue - hard to even call this a monologue, it was more just a way for them to bring up some of Cameron Diaz's more popular movies from waaaay back when she used to be a big-time movie star.

"Back Home Ballers" - a musical number with ALL of the female cast members; I didn't really get it, although Leslie Jones was funny.

"Black Annie" - oh, that's right the host is promoting a movie so they have to do the requisite parody of it. Standouts were Leslie Jones and Jay Pharaoh with a hilarious Jamie Fox.

"Nest-spresso" commercial - Vanessa Bayer was weird and funny in this one.

"Woodbridge High School Experimental Theatre Showcase" - umm, this was just weird. It had a couple of funny lines, but it was a little slow, long, and too weird.

Mark Ronson/Bruno Mars - I have no idea who Mark Ronson is, but BM is always doing pretty catchy songs though.

Weekend Update - Colin Jost was there again this week. Kate McKinnon's Angela Merkel is always good for a laugh - she just goes ALL IN. Taran Killam and Cecily Strong as Charlie Manson and equally psychotic bride was funny. Michael Che was a little rough but overall funny, although the bit with Bill Cosby didn't really go over so well.

"Office Boss" - I've never been a fan of the "Big Baby" bit, it just seems so contrived and predictable. Cameron Diaz was good but weird though.

"Dr. David and Buggles" - Kenan Thompson just does crazy so damn good. My favorite sketch for Cameron Diaz of the night.

"The Fight" - I like Kyle Mooney, but these bits are more goofy than funny and go on too long.

"Poetry Class" - Vanessa Bayer and Cameron Diaz were great in this one - so was Pete Davidson, even before he said anything.

"Night Murmurs" - I liked this fake phone sex line skit, Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong and Cameron Diaz were all good in this.

Overall a pretty good episode, not my favorite but OK.

This has been kind of a rough season, although this was one of the better episodes from it. I really liked Back Home Ballers.

Agreed. Sarah Silverman and Chris Rock were the two terrible shows I remember of recent.
