Bill S. made a mention in another thread that Jackie did a test run of the Honeymooners on this show. I saw a dvd box set of four episodes of the hour on Amazon.com. I am wondering if that test run is on that set.

His IMDb page lists two appearances, but I'm pretty those weren't the only ones. Which DVD are you referring to?

Does anyone know for sure if "Honeymooners" were performed on these 2 shows?

As far as I know, there were no actual Honeymooners sketches done on Colgate. When he hosted the show a month before the first Cavalcade Honeymooners, he did a sketch where he, according to the Paley Center website, "portrays a man coming home after being fired from his job." The sketch was said to have been his way of testing out the Honeymooners concept.

The dates listed for this set don't match up with the two dates on IMDb, so if Gleason is in one of the shows, I don't know anything about it.
