Dude111 11-23-2014, 11:10 AM Have you seen any TV MOVIES and if so,what do ya think??
I have seen 3
1) On the edge of innocence - 1997
An excellent movie about 2 kids ending up in an institution and falling in love, then escaping from it and then realising they need help and returning.....
2) Living with the dead - 2002
An excellent movie with a surprising ending!! -- You really need to be in the right frame of mind to understand the ending!!!! (It brought me to tears -- A touching movie)
3) Red alert - 1977
A good movie about a power plant employee gone bad...... Thankfully they get him before anything really big happens!
tiredmike59 11-23-2014, 12:50 PM I have a bunch of the old tv movies from the 70s.
One that comes to mind is " Where have all the people gone? "
It's about a family that went on a camping trip to the mountains and while they were exploring a cave there was some kind of an event, (Solar flare or nuclear strike) I can't remember which, but all the towns were empty except for packs of wild dogs that kept attacking them.

I remember that Movie with Weaver. I think it was made by Steven Spielberg. Anyway, they used footage from that movie, and the same truck, on an episode of the Incredible Hulk TV Series. I think it was done before McCloud.

I have that one! Very good! I think it was a solar flare.:)
I have a large collection of tv movies from the 70's. Too many to list. But one that stands out is from the early '80's. "The Day After" about a massive nuclear explosion. Very scary:eek:
Remember the old ABC Movie Of The Week? There was always a good tv movie to watch!Elizabeth Montgomery made a lot of cool movies back then. like "The Legend Of Lizzie Borden" And we can't neglect to mention the superb mini-series' like"The Awakening Land", "Centennial", "Roots", "Rich Man Poor Man", "Testimony Of Two Men", Captain And The Kings", etc. I sure do miss those days!:(

Those tv movies from the early 70s were always talked about the next day at school. There were always people trapped in a ski lift or stuck in a building during a black out. Even the teacher would get involved in the conversation, she would ask " Did anyone watch Killdozer last night? " I would raise my hand and tell her that I did and she would ask me " Is that why you didn't do your homework? "
