View Full Version : Why was Michael Nesmith missing from some of the episodes? DJM77 11-22-2014, 02:18 PM Anyone know? AaronHandy3 12-12-2014, 07:21 PM Anyone know? Back after a looooooong hiatus!!! :D He skipped out on "I Was A 99-lb. Weakling" (a.k.a. "Physical Culture") and "The Monkees Watch Their Feet" (a.k.a. "Micky And The Outer Space Creatures") due to recovery from his tonsillectomy. His absence from "The Card-Carrying Red Shoes" was probably due to artistic differences. And he abandoned ship from "Hitting The High Seas" when his insides did the same thing (seasickness!!). DJM77 12-12-2014, 10:24 PM Thanks for the info and welcome back! visaman666 12-26-2014, 06:43 AM Thanks for the info and welcome back... ...Kotter! He signed on for the show when he needed the work, then hated everything about it because it didn't revolve around him. He fell into huge money because his mother, who was a typist, happened to invent Liquid Paper. He then had an endless supply of money he could waste on his crappy vanity projects.
