According to a recent post on Warner Archive's facebook page, they say "There may be a resolution for PERFECT STRANGERS in sight, but nothing to report at the moment." Hopefully we will finally hear something soon.

This would be amazing news. I'd pay whatever they ask.

WOW! This IS great news!! Either it's coming the way of the Warner Archive or a complete set via StarVista. Either way is fine by me! I don't want to get my hopes up too high but having hope is a wonderful feeling.

I'm thinking that for them to make such a public statement they must be pretty close to being able to release the next season. Unfortunately if it took them this long to get to season 3 and if the show indeed ended up with the Archive program, I wouldn't be placing any bets on getting the full run of the series anytime soon.

Really hoping the show is picked up my StarVista or Shout! Factory for a complete series release.

The show had actually done well for Warner, but they stopped due to increasing problems with music rights.

That's what I was thinking. Music wasn't really a big problem with TV on DVD releases when they first started. I think the music industry caught on to what was happening and said, "hmmm...let's use this to make more money". Just in the past 5 or so years the music rights problems have been getting worse and more expensive.

As of now, I don't really care how long it takes to release the series as long as we get a season here and a season there. Something is better than what we've been getting...which is nothing. I want them to take their time and do the series justice.

I wish we could get some kind of an update on this. The suspense is horrible.

LOL...I know what you mean. I really want this series on DVD! It's one of my favorites.

Hopefully, we'll get this via the Warner Archive in 2015!

To me, if a whole show can't be made available, it shouldn't be out there at all, so I pray that the rest of this show is released soon.

God bless you always!!! :) :) :)

Weren't we supposed to be getting some news about this series soon? It's been 5 months since this thread was started.

If Perfect Strangers won't be able to get to DVD, will there be any chance if this could go digital like amazon/hulu for the series?

I would think that "Family Matters" is moving forward maybe "Perfect Strangers" will be released as a complete series set. I've never seen this show but only heard wonderful things about it so I'd buy it

I wonder what is taken so long to complete DVD for Perfect Strangers.. I admit this show is very good and I used to watch it online on youtube in 2010 before being taken away in 2011 or 2012.

I tweeted Warner Archive and got this response.

Nothing new to announce on this. But with many popular TV series not on DVD, it comes down to rights and clearance issues.

:( You'd think a big company like Warner wouldn't have a problem paying for the rights, it's not like it's Mill Creek trying to release it. Just want someone to be able to give us this on DVD, or hell even on a streaming service.

^That's sad news but it seems like a property Shout! Factory would be interested in.

I'd like to see Mill Creek take up the project. They've been very conscious of uncut episodes of shows in the past.

Count them out. Mill Creek has never worked with WB before, but Shout and StarVista have.

That's a pity. I'm don't know Shout or StarVista's record on unedited TV shows.

Once Warner Archive completes "Family Matters", I think it'll just be a matter of time before they start working on "PS"; at least I hope so.

^^^ I hope that the Step By Step show is put out there too. Once that show and this show is fully out there, my DVD collection will be complete. :) :) :)

God bless you always!!!
