OMG !! Such a good ep that was on last night!!! It tugged at my heartstrings! Starsky saw a girl when he and Hutch were working out. They were jogging, a girl was jogging too, and Starsky liked her and tried to meet her. She blew him off. Turned out she was a mobster's daughter, and who gets on the case to investigate her father and her? Of course Starsky and Hutch!!! ;) So since Starsky already struck out with her before he even knew who she was it was suggested Hutch try to get to know her! ;) Starsky was adamant that he would try again to meet her. ;) He was like NOPE, she is MINE!!! :mad:

Anyway he went undercover and started dating her . She didn't know he was a cop, and to make a long story short, she found out, and that he was also working undercover investigating them! :eek: And by this time Starsky already had fallen in love with her and she felt the same about him. So it was like a forbidden fruit type love story! It was so romantic and a tear jerker because they of course couldn't end up being together!!! :( :(

I guess that by this point in the series tptb didn't even bother to pretend that any relationship the guys started with a woman would end well. They tell you right up front Starsky is attracted to this girl, but oops, she's the daughter of a mobster and he's going to go undercover and lie to her and fool her to get info on her father. No happy ending possible there, and there wasn't one. :)

Hated this episode. I couldn't stand Rosie Malone. Maybe I was just mad at Starsky for moving on so soon after his girlfriend Terry died. LOL.
