Kirk Cameron Tried To Flood RottenTomatoes With His Followers, Was Quickly Swamped By Trolls (http://uproxx.com/filmdrunk/2014/11/kirk-cameron-tried-to-flood-rottentomatoes-was-quickly-swamped-by-trolls/)

Kirk Cameron (http://www.avclub.com/article/kirk-cameron-crucified-hands-imdb-users-rises-jesu-212677)’s attempt to help boost audience ratings for his film Saving Christmas has failed yet again.
Not only does the film have a 0 percent approval rating among professional critics on Rotten Tomatoes, it is now the most poorly rated film (http://uproxx.com/filmdrunk/2014/12/kirk-camerons-saving-christmas-is-now-imdbs-lowest-rated-movie/) on the Internet Movie Database (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4009460/combined), meriting only 1.3 stars out of 10.
In order to appear on the list, a film “must have received at least 1,500 votes,” which means that a significant number of the site’s users felt it to be significantly worse than the Carmen Electra vehicle Disaster Movie (1.9 stars), Mariah Carey’s unwatchable biopic Glitter (2.1 stars), and John Travolta’s ode to Scientology, Battlefield Earth (2.3 stars).
Despite recent stream of credible rape allegations against its star, even Bill Cosby’s disastrous foray into science fiction, Leonard 6, is able to maintain 2.3 stars.
The reason for the abysmal reviews could be that, as the Times‘ Ben Kenigsberg noted, Cameron’s delivery in the film is so forced “you half expect the camera to pull back to reveal hostage takers.” Or because, in the words of MLive’s John Serba, “Cameron’s preferred tool of engagement is a prybar, applied to your eyelids with an indelicate hand.”
This is not to say the film has not been popular among some groups — it has currently grossed $2.2 million, and if Cameron’s Facebook post on Wednesday is to be believed, it is about to receive a wider distribution:

1. Kirk Cameron
It would be optimistic to say that Kirk Cameron’s career even really exists at this point: practically nobody saw his straight-to-video February release Mercy Rule, and his holiday movie Saving Christmas won the dubious honor of scoring 0% on Rotten Tomatoes (https://lebeauleblog.com/2018/04/17/is-rotten-tomatoes-unfair/). This caused Cameron to campaign for his Facebook followers to rate the movie positively on the site’s public review page, a move nobody else on this list was desperate enough to engage in.
Though it can’t have cost much to make, Saving Christmas (or as some posters call it, Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas) only made $2.8 million, which given the reviews, is basically a Christmas miracle in of itself.
The Cinema Snob (http://www.thecinemasnob.com/the-cinema-snob/kirk-camerons-saving-christmas) finds out that the way to save Christmas is to make a movie so bad (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Horrible/LiveActionFilms) that it ends up on imdb's bottom 100 (http://www.imdb.com/chart/bottom?tt4009460)!
