I've seen a few commercials for this and it sounds interesting, seems to be a Cold Case Files-type show. It is set to debut on Tuesday, December 2. Not much on the net about it, but the term "murder book" refers to the notes investigators take while pursuing a case. They're usually confidential, but the series plans to reveal the "murder book".

ok, got a little more info on this. The debut episode will be about a series of crimes that happened in Gainesville, FL in the late 80's and early 90's, included in that is the case of missing person Tiffany Sessions. Here is a link to the info and Tiffany's Charley Project page

Season 2 debuts November 5th.

I enjoy this show. I'm glad it's coming back.

I'm disappointed that tonight's debut episode of this season involves a case that has already been covered by another program. Covered quite well, I thought. Drum that stayed tucked away within a house for decades and many owners until a refuge company refused to haul it away due to the weight. Only then was it opened, and a body discovered. Long but successful process to identify who it was, and trace the murderer back to the home itself.

Maybe they'll have additional info. But I always enjoy it when they are old cases that have not received national exposure.

I watched this last night!! I had seen this case featured on Cold Case files(I think it was CCF? One of the crime shows that used to play on A &E years ago) ! I think Murder Book did a really good job on it. Went into more detail than I remember! I can't believe that man really thought he could just leave a big barrel with a dead body under his house, and move away and not expect it to be detected by new homeowners!!!! I can't believe it took that much time for it to be detected. :confused:

That poor naïve girl Reyna, thinking that he would really leave his wife for her! Her downfall telling his wife. Which I don't think she did in spitefulness, I really think she was just a young, poor ,immigrant girl. And a Catholic girl. She truly loved him and really believed she would be married to him soon! :(

I liked seeing Reyna's friend Kathy on the program. So sad for her and Reyna's family not knowing all these years what happened!!! :( And I had forgotten that Howard actually committed suicide after he was found out!!! Glad I watched it!! ;)
