I like the scene where after the trio bought the car from Mr. Roper they are discussing which route to take, and who would drive who where.....that's something about the early seasons I enjoyed that didn't show up in the later seasons. It seemed like an actual conversation that would happen in real life. In the later seasons it would have just been setup punch line, set up, punch line.

I remember as a kid watching that episode and not liking it very much since I didn't anything about cars but now as an adult and having gone through 4 cars already I can relate to how much money can go into affording a car.

Yep. That one to me was one of the most realistic Three's Company episodes ever taped.

Real problems were what the first two seasons were about, not wacky situations.
