She's a regular on the last three seasons of this series, playing Bunny Halper. Is it me, or does she never wear makeup on this show? I don't think I've ever heard of a woman in the 1960s not wearing makeup. She looks fine without it, and it would not be uncommon today, but it was certainly out of step with the times. I wonder what that was about?

It is fun to see Pat in the show from the early years. I always laugh when I see her as Mary Richards hospital room mate on Mary Tyler Moore.

I haven't seen very many episodes of this show, but I think the point was that Bunny was so frazzled having to deal with Charlie's antics that she didn't even have time to think about putting makeup on. Also, for part of Season 9 she was pregnant and had a newborn; maybe she just didn't feel like wearing makeup?

It's interesting to see her much later work on Too Close for Comfort, recently airing concurrently (on Antenna TV). She was effective in her roles.

She crushed it as Shirley’s mom on a first-season episode of “Laverne & Shirley”. I never understood why they didn’t bring her back for any more episodes.
