I was minding my own bussiness taping The Golden Girls, and watching it, and noticed at the end of one scene a PETA commercial started with the girls Bea, Betty and Rue talking about donating your furs to the homeless, it ws weird!! It wasn't part of the show, and not a recent commerial It is cool to have it on tape!

I caught that myself. Remember that McClanahan, White and Arthur are all animal lovers (I'm sure Getty is as well). There were numerous shows that featured animals and it was usually Rose who was the most sympathetic to them.

That commercial aired when the show was first broadcast on NBC. I have seen it on Lifetime before. I'm glad they didnt cut "that" out of the show.

Oooooh! I'd love to snag that PETA promo on tape! I saw on PETA's website a couple weeks ago that Lifetime is going to start airing it during GG (I didn't realize that they already started airing it). I guess I'll just have to pop a tape in the VCR and tape the show until I get it, LOL! Anyway, you can watch the promo on RealAudio at PETA's website (peta.com).

What episode was that? I can't remember... and I haven't seen that PETA ad since that one time.

I've never seen it. Do they want to show it regularly, or just during certain episodes?
