Roseanne Barr Heads to ABC's "Cristela"

Roseanne Barr is returning to ABC. The comedian has landed a guest-starring role on the network’s new comedy "Cristela", EW has learned exclusively.

Barr will play Veronica, Trent’s (Sam McMurray) estranged wife. Though they still love each other, they just can’t seem to get along.



A former hippie-turned-lawyer/activist, Veronica does pro bono work, which appeals to Cristela (Cristela Alonzo). (Who wants to bet there’s a joke about starring on titular shows?)

Barr is filming her episode this week, which is slated to air in early January.

Ick. I've liked Cristela so far but can't stand Roseanne.

I agree with catsrule. I won't be watching that episode, OK so I've missed a few here and there. I'll just say I can't stand that woman and leave it at that.
