"New Girl": Zoe Lister-Jones Cast as Schmidt's New (Very) Significant Other

Holy Schmidt, it looks like someone’s finally ready to move on from Cece!
"New Girl" has tapped Zoe Lister-Jones to join Season 4 as a major new love interest for Max Greenfield’s torch-carrying bachelor, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Lister-Jones will play a city councilwoman who Schmidt attempts to charm (with a little coaxing from Jess) in order to put a stop to the night construction outside of the loft.
Her recurring role kicks off in January.
