It's an understandable mistake as the real life actresses were identical twins.:)

Oh, and I would choose the original Sadako from Ringu over the American remake's Samara. Sadako we never get a good look at her face, for me that made her creepier than with the remake where Samara looked like Freddy Kreuger's daughter.
