View Full Version : Happy Halloween!
Penny Lane 10-31-2014, 01:41 PM I don't think it will be too happy here in Michigan tonight. It is cold and raining this afternoon and they are predicting some snow showers this evening. Hope the rest of you have a happy, safe, nice holiday!pumpkin:

Bonniegirl 10-31-2014, 02:35 PM It is clouding up here too. Hope the rain holds off, because it is nice that it isn't so hot and there is a chill in the air, but hope NO RAIN!!!

HuntingtonM15 10-31-2014, 03:31 PM Happy Halloween, SO!!
Yes, it's definitely very cold and rainy in Michigan, but I'll still be going out tonight. We'll see how that goes.
mets82 10-31-2014, 04:17 PM Happy Halloween!! I'm not that big on Halloween. I dont dress up or have never done anything, like go to parties or anything. I just stuff my face with candy.
I will say that its cold and cloudy here in CT.
Penny Lane 10-31-2014, 08:38 PM Well, it's a crummy night for trick or treating. It's very windy and snowing!35 degrees! I can't ever remember it snowing here on Halloween! Sadly, we had no trick or treaters tonight.:( I really don't mind the weather but I feel sorry for the kids:( pumpkin:

OMG it is 35 and snowing! Wow that is early for it to be that cold!
It is chilly here for So Cal. but it didn't end up raining, but we didn't have very many trick or treaters this year . Maybe because it's Friday, I'm thinking a lot of the kids went to parties instead? Maybe in Michigan too, Marlene. Hopefully the kids maybe went to Halloween parties with no school the next day! :)
comedyfreak 11-01-2014, 04:58 AM We got rain it let up some and no trick or treaters came to my door. I have to take all the left over candy to work just to get rid of it all.
auburntiger 11-01-2014, 02:30 PM it was a cool and rainy/windy night down here in alabama too we hadnt had trick r treeaters at our house since the early 2000s we buy candy every year but no trick r treaters come

I know we get less and less as time goes on. Last few years the few kids that do come are ones that live on our street. We always have plenty of candy left, unlike the old days where kids went around to different neighborhoods.

sadly both Halloween & Christmas have become nothing but advantages for money grabbing politicians that want votes neither have the same meaning anymore but I do believe that eventually both will find their place again soon
Fleet 11-02-2014, 05:07 AM A good Halloween over here, even though there were only 76 TOT (118 last year). Also, there were a few sprinkles about 8:05 pm and actual rain at 11:30 pm, but the visitors were long gone by then.
I drove to the Spirit Halloween store and bought a prop at 50% off. The "Untimely Death" statue. This makes the 3rd prop I've bought from that store. Fortunately, they all still work!
I did make a video of the latest prop. I like this prop a lot.
