in case you haven't heard, Maria Strassman who played nurse Maggie Cutler in 6 episodes in the 1st season (REQUIEM FOR A LIGHTWEIGHT, YANKEE DOODLE DOCTOR, LOVE STORY, BANNANAS CRACKERS & NUTS, EDWINA, and CEASE FIRE) has died.
I always liked Maggie Cutler. I wish she had stayed on the show at least for the first 3 seasons.

If they had made Margie Cutler a regular character instead of just recurring I think Marcia might have stuck around for a longer run on M*A*S*H. Instead she was offered a regular role on Welcome Back Kotter and chose to do that instead.
