Daughter of Larry Flynt Dies One Week after Crash

Funeral services are set for Lisa K. Flynt-Fugate, 47, of Dayton, who died Friday of injuries she suffered in an Oct. 17 crash in Riverside.

Lisa Flynt's father, HUSTLER publisher Larry Flynt, was on the phone at the time of her passing, and has been involved since the crash last Friday evening in Riverside that left his daughter in critical condition.

The Dayton woman was surrounded by friends and family, and passed quickly after she was removed from life support, according to a family member who declined to have her name published.

Flynt-Fugate is survived by her husband, Glenn Fugate; parents Amanda Carson and Larry Flynt and a host of other relatives and friends.







Riverside police Sgt. David Crigler stated in a news release issued Sunday that alcohol had a factor in the accident.

Flynt was driving a 1999 Oldsmobile when she pulled out from Serro Place and into the side of a tractor trailer, which was traveling on Valley Pike in the area of the Dollar General store.

"Flynt was ejected from the vehicle and was found trapped under it," Crigler stated.

How sad. That article that is linked mentioned that it's likely that she suffered a seizure. I didn't know that Larry Flynt had a daughter. I wonder if he was ever in a relationship with the mother? The article mentioned the mother's name. The only person I know of him being in a relationship with is the woman who was played by Courtney Love in the movie.

Larry Flynt has 5 children all together, 4 daughters and a son. Flynt was not married to Lisa's mother, Amanda Carson, and he mentioned it was a brief relationship. Lisa was the only child they had together.

Flynt's been married 5 times. Courtney Love played his 4th wife, Althea Leasure, and they were married 1976-1987. She died in '87 from accidental drowning. Flynt married his current wife in 1998.
