Do you like Dr. Pepper?

I was talking to someone and I mentioned how I like Dr. Pepper. They said they hate it. It got me thinking about it. Is Dr. Pepper a region kind of soda?

I read somewhere that it didn't go over too well when it was introduced in Australia.

I enjoy Dr. Pepper, but in college I knew a girl who was obsessed with it. She would save the paper cups you get in restaurants that had the logo on it. She said she was planning to make a Dr. Pepper collage. She had a Dr. Pepper cookbook and would make Dr. Pepper cuisine. I don't know what happened to her, but I wouldn't be surprised if she went into a sugar coma or joined the company.

OMG WOW!!!! That girl sure liked her Dr. Pepper! :eek: I'm not that extreme but I totally LOVE it!!! I'd say my favorite soda! I even like diet Dr. Pepper, since I'm getting older and have to watch my weight and sugar intake I drink diet Dr. Pepper a lot! But since I was a little girl I loved Dr. pepper and drank the regular for years! ;)

It does seem like it's something you either love or hate . Like Brussels sprouts, that is another thing people really like or hate. I love them too! ;)

I didn't like it when I was young, but now you can say "I too am a Pepper"!

It's me, and that's ridiculous. Nobody strives to appear an aloof elitist. Some people just hate certain foods and drinks. I tried Dr. Pepper years ago and thought it had a strange taste. I can honestly say that I have never known a single person who drinks it. My husband said the same thing. I don't even see it advertised here.

I like diet Dr. Pepper but the local store brand which is called Dr. Perky tastes much better. I also like diet cherry Dr. Pepper but it's not available as a store brand.

I can drink it if it's the only drink available, but for the most part I don't care for it. I'm a diet coke or diet pepsi drinker.

I like Dr. Pepper. There are so many drinks and foods that I don't like. I'm very picky. I don't see how not liking/hating a drink or food, would make anyone an aloof elitist.

I know aloof is in different and an elitist is someone who thinks they are above others.

I like it but don't drink it too often.

I have never liked Dr. Pepper. The only time we ever bought it was when we went to Michigan's Adventure, there used to be an admissons discount on cans. We usually just dumped it out in the parking lot because no one wanted to drink it. My one brother does like it now though.

I am in Canada. Dr Pepper can be a bit too sweet at times, it's a special drink to drink at special times.

I used to drink it when I was a kid because that was what my mom always bought. It was okay but now I'd rather drink diet coke. I will drink it every once in a while but I can take it or leave it.

I Like Diet Dr. Pepper a lot but try not to drink it too often as I'm trying to cut back on caffeine.

I love Dr. Pepper. One of my favorite sodas.

I like diet dr peper the beast has any one tried 10 calorie dr pepper? its pretty good at first I didn't like it then I started drinking It its pretty good.

I very rarely drink Dr. Pepper, and when I do, it would have to be the diet version.

I m big dr Pepper fan! but im not obsessed with it!! but i do liked diet dr pepper!! can you guys believe? that diet dr pepper tastes almost liked the original dr pepper!! then i also seen dr pib it tastes liked dr pepper ! i do liked cherry dr pepper!! i didn't know they had diet cherry dr pepper!! I never seen it around here!! when fire house had organ coke i would put cherry dr pepper & organ coke in it! it tasted really good!!

I used to until 1988 (Born and raised in Texas so I pretty much had to!) but then my dad took my brother and I to Maui on vacation. They didn't have DP there and we drank Diet Coke the whole time and after that I drank Diet Coke for years and years. I haven't had a DP in forever but I know that it would be way too sweet for me.

I tried a diet peach Dr.Pepper from Sonic recently and it's now my new favorite soda.

I love it, but in general I try to avoid Sodas because of the excess Sugar. Also, I can never be
sure whether or not the Caramel Coloring in some Sodas comes from Gluten-Free sources.

I like Cherry Dr.Pepper the best. Even better than Cherry Coke!

But I've not had a Cherry Dr.Pepper in over a year! Don't drink dark sodas as much anymore.
