Hello,

Posting this again as I am still looking. I got a lot of PMs from several cool people (thanks to all of you who wrote!) who just weren't able to find anything from me that they wanted.

And unfortunately one not so cool person who did want several of my titles but did not complete the trade for the series after I sent him my end of the bargain.. I've since found that this person was banned from this site for doing the same to others and realize I will never get the set from him after all these months of writing and waiting. So I'm trying again.

I'm looking for a complete or as near as complete as possible set of this series "It's A Living" I've found that a near complete collection exists (missing only one episode) and that several copies are out there in the trading universe.

I have a very nice collection of TV series and movies. As well as one of the largest Holiday Specials collection to trade for in return...

Thanks!

Ah yes! I know who you speak of. I was the one that created that set, did a trade with him (a trade that went well) and before I knew it, he was selling the set on ioffer. Yes, I'm a little bitter. In fact, I have a feeling, he was doing trades for other programs and selling them on there too.

That's the thing about trading that sucks. You never know who you are dealing with and there is no way to make them give you what they owe you.

On websites like Ebay if someone screws another person over PayPal and Ebay will handle it but with trades there is no way to get what you are owed.

I hate it when that happens to folks especially when they took the time to complete their side of the trade. All trades are risky so be careful and if at any point you feel uncomfortable about a possible trade please don't go through with it.

The joke is on him because It's a Living is owned by a company that takes copyright very seriously so if he is selling your set online it won't be long before it is taken down.

Every time it is uploaded on YouTube it gets taken down due to copyright claims so chances are it will be reported to the owners of the content and they will have it removed from iOffer.

@ Joshlarson .... Thanks for the sympathy. You are definitely right. I've been trading online since 1999. Back when all you had were VHS and it took days to copy what you can do in about an hour now with DVD's .. haha.

Unfortunately I've had a ton of burned trades. But I think the positive ones outnumber them enough to make it all balance out.... I'm still around so it hasn't sucked all of the joy out of the hobby yet . :) But sometimes... sheesh!

The member was actually banned from this site after the post from some other jilted traders, with swaps gone wrong from him, was put out there for everybody to see... so for everyone on here should be safe from him under that name anyway.

Thanks again

.

Right, you can't make them give you what they owe you but there are other things you CAN do that might end up being better than the discs they cheated you out of
