A Partial Solar Eclipse will take place this afternoon it will be visible in all the states except Hawaii, Eastern Massachusetts (A few miles west of Boston), Eastern New Hampshire and Maine. In Daytona Beach the eclipse will start at 6:17 PM and end a few minutes later at sunset.

Use caution when observing this eclipse, DO NOT STARE DIRECTLY INTO THE SUN!!! Use an optical sun filter (If you are an Amateur Astronomer you know what I'm talking about) have ), or No. 14 Welders Glasses. If you can't get either of these take a box, punch a hole in one end with a pin and project the image on the opposite end of the box.
The next Eclipse Visible in the US will take place on August 21, 2017 and it will be a TOTAL ECLUPSE along a line stretching from Oregon to South Carolina. :D
